I recently returned from the 8-day training course, which took place in Čičmany, Slovakia. It was a new experience and a challenge for me because the main focus was on body communication which is the opposite of my usual overactive mind so I had to go out of my comfort zone. Not an easy task to go against what is automatic but it turned out to be an amazing and life-changing experience.
Slnko, more, dobré jedlo a ešte lepší ľudia. V tomto znamení sa niesli takmer dva krásne týždne strávené na malom ostrove takmer v centre Stredozemného mora – na Malte – kde sme mali tú možnosť zúčastniť sa erazmus plus projektu pod názvom „Crafts 4 Social Change“.
Dňa 24. 5. 2023 sme sa zúčastnili mládežníckej výmeny Erasmus+, ktorý sa konal v španielskom meste Íscar. Do projektu boli zapojené krajiny: Španielsko, Taliansko, Rumunsko, Turecko, Slovensko a Severné Macedónsko. Po stretnutí v Madride na letisku sme sa autobusom dopravili do Iscaru, kde sme sa zoznámili. Každý deň sme začali energizerom od jednej zo zapojených krajín. Prvý deň nás potom čakalo predstavenie projektu a úvod do témy SUSTAINABLE SPACES.
Secondary school students from all over Slovakia attended an online seminar aimed at encouraging young people to take part in the 2024 European Elections. These students already know when the elections are taking place and students who will be 18 by the election date are interested in taking part in the elections. How did it all work and what did they learn at the seminars ? Read the article.
Slovak secondary school students also had the opportunity to try out the Electionville game and learn about democratic and local governance in a playful way.
EulectionVille is a board or floor game for groups. By playing ElectionVille, students had the opportunity to understand democratic processes, the principles of how political decisions work and their complexities. They also practised group work and presentation, argumentation and debating skills. The Eulectionville game provided an innovative, fun and educational way of educating secondary school pupils.
